Group - 20th December 2007- The last activity of the year was the Chiristmas party organized in the HQ for all the members of the group together with the girl guides. The mebers took part in games in order to socialize more and finally Father Christmas arrived bringing the presents to the kids.....except to the naughty ones....just kidding, everyone got a present. Group - 17th December 2007- This year the annual christmas concert was presented by famous TV presenter Chrysander Agius. Surely it was a great succes as the members enjoyed every minute of it. The second part of the show was held by a magician which amazed the audience with some very good tricks. Group - 14th December 2007- The annual dinner dance was held at the Buskett Road House. An occasion to meet and have fun together enjoying the show and the good food. See tou next year. Group - 30th November - 2nd December 2007- We left Zejtun on Friday 30th November for another adventure. Camping – an activity all the group waits for. This year the theme for the winter camp was a sports weekend. All the groups took part in various games both outdoor and indoor – like races – relay, potatoe and 3 legged race. We had also a tug of war between teams and at the end between leaders and sections. On Saturday a Get Together was organized for parents and friends. Thank you to all who attended. On Sunday two of our leaders went to Fgura to represent our Group on their 20th Anniversary - Congratulations. The rest of the group continued the games prepared such as ludo, Mikado, skittles and snakes and ladders. After cleaning up and packing we brought an end to the camp with our flag break. We arrived back at Zejtun tired but happy. Group - 22nd November - 25th November 2007- The group organized an Exhibition to commemorate it's 90 years anniversary. On the 22nd the annual investiture was held where new members where given the scout promise. On Sunday the 25th a District Rally was also held in our town to commemorate this anniversary. Scouts - 27th Ocober 2007 - The Scouts went Hiking to B'Bugia where they cooked on open fire their meals and played some games. Ventures - 26th October 2007 - The Venture Unit organized a dinner at ta' Soldi restaurant in Mgarr where the members enjoyed both the meal and the company of eachother. A succesful activity which will surely be repeated... Ventures - 24th October 2007 - The Venture Unit organized a 5-a Side football match at Zejtun. It was a very balanced match with the winning team taking over 6-3 in the last few minutes. An activity that was greatly enjoyed by the members Group - 14th October - The group took part in a local activity by parading around the town streets. Tree palnting and animal displays where also part of the activity. Cubs - 13th October 2007 - Our pack took part in this yearly event together with the other packs from the District.  Even though the weather was lousy a great number of cubs met at the Rinella grounds for the Joe Galea Sheild. This years topic was 'Traditional Maltese Games'.  Although we had a rough start due to a rain shower everything went well. After starting with a prayer and the cubs promise, the cubs had a lot of fun playing games like "noli", "il-gurdien u l-qattus", iz-zunzana ddur iddur" and many others.  All the groups were mixed up and so enabled each participant to make new friends from different groups. To remember the 100 years of scouting each cub drew the logo. The activity came to a close with a prayer  and at the end of the activity all those present formed the number 100. The sheild will be held for one month by all the participating groups. Scouts - 13th October 2007 - A training football tournament was organized between the members of the troop. The intense training session lasted for 3 hours. It was a pity that some of the members missed training due to international call-ups. :) Group - 12th - 19th August 2007 - The annual group Summer camp was held at St.Thomas Bay. The Cubs, Scouts and Ventures had an intense week of activities testing their scouting skills. The usual campfire was also held on the 15th August. Group - 2nd - 12th August 2007 - During August the group organized a Youth exhange with participants from Romania, Estonia and Lithuania. We can proudly say that it was a great success and everyone enjoyed it. Group - 31st July - 1st August 2007 - The World Scouts celebrated their 100 years from when Lord Baden Powell founded the Scout Association. The group attended on the Granaries in Floriana to the celebrations organized by the I.H.Q to commemorate this occassion. The activity involved in a campfire on Tuesday Night and early morning at sunrise the members where near Fort St.Elmo to see the sun rising. Some events followed back on the granaries. Band - 8th July 2007 - The band accompanied Fr.Mario Mangion in Siggiewi on his Priest consagration. The band marched through the Siggiewi streets followed by Fr.Mario and his relatives. Cubs + Scouts - 22nd June 2007 - The cubs and scouts took part in a local procession to commemorate the Sacred Hearth of Jesus. During this procession the local children who have just made their Holy Communion walk around the town streets accompanied by the scouts led by a drummer. Band - 10th June 2007 - The band took part in the inauguration ceremony of an 80ft flag, painted in memory of St.Catherine, the patron saint of Zejtun. Ventures - 19th May 2007 - The Venture unit took part in a Tresure hunt organized by the Zejtun, Birkirkara and St.Micheal groups. The treasure hunt was held at Mdina and it consistedof finding 15 locations in Mdina using only photos and a questionnaire about scouting. The Zejtun and St.Micheal's groups got the same points in this activity and so they had to share the prices. WELL DONE!! Cubs - 5th June 2007 - The cubs took part in the Eucharistic walk around the locality together with other local organizations. Group - 6th May 2007 - The National Annual Parade (St.George's Day) was held at Valletta. Our group attended with a nice number of 117 members. Well done to everyone. Group - 29th March 2007 - The annual mother's day concert was held in the theatre inside our headquarters. A variety of plays, songs, mimes and dances where held by all the group section together with Zejtun Girl Guides. As usual the attendance was absolutely great and we're glad that the audience liked the show. See you next Year!! Group - 29th March 2007 - A church parade was held in Zejtun as preperation for the Annual parade. Scouts - 15th March 2007 - The Scouts took part in a joint activity with the Stella Maris and the Birkirkara scouts. The groups met at Marsascala and walked to Rinella using orienteering and mapping. On arriving at Rinella they set up a cookout in order to cook their meals. Scouts - 13th - 15th March 2007 - The Scout section Patrol Leaders camp was held at the Rinella scout centre in Kalkara. The scouts had to show their skills since they had to organize the camp on their own and they also had to take care of cooking and taking care of the campsite by themselves. Ventures - 13th - 15th March 2007 - The Venture unit organized a Computer weekend which was held at the Rinella Scout Centre. The Ventures got their computers and joined them by Network and spent a weekend competing with each other who will win the English Premier League on "Football Manager 2007". Cubs + Beavers - 4th April 2007 - The cubs and Beavers section organized a joint activity with the Marsa and Fgura group at Fgura's scouts headquarters. The cubs and Beavers learnt how to do new crafts and games. Cubs + Beavers - 15th March 2007 - The cubs and Beavers section organized a joint activity with the Dingli group at the Zejtun scouts headquarters. The cubs and Beavers learnt how to do new crafts and games. Cubs + Beavers - 10th March 2007 - The cubs and Beavers section organized a joint activity with the Dingli group at Dingli's scouts headquarters. The cubs and Beavers learnt how to do new crafts and games. Group - 2nd - 4th March 2007 - The winter group camp was held at the Rinella scout centre. On Saturday evening the Get Together was held. The Scouters would like to thank all the parents and friends that attended to this activity. Leaders - 24th February 2007 - Nearly all the section leaders attended the pathfinder course (A leadership course) in order to get experience which will be usedwhen taking care of the respective sections. Part of this course consisted in organizing a Joint activity with another Group which was organizedlater on during the year. Group - 2nd February 2007 - The Annual General Meeting was held at the Headquarters with quite a good attendance from the parents. There was a presentation of the best Cub and best Scout awards. The best Scout patrol was also awarded a reminder during the meeting. Cubs - 27th January 2007 - Cook Out at St.Thomas Bay organized by the Cubs Section.
